1. Who will be your target audience?
My target audience will be sixth form students, typically aged 16-18 years old.
2. What will the name of your magazine be?
My magazine will be called 'Sixth'. I have chosen this because it makes a direct link to the audience and also suggests ideas to the content which will be interests of the sixth form students.
3. What will be on your front cover?
On my front cover, there will be a picture of a group of sixth form students sitting in the common room. This links to the primary lead of the magazine which is introducing the sixth form students because this is the first issue. There will also be another article about an upcoming music band who will be included in the double page spread.
4. What will be on your contents page?
On my contents page, the main article (introduction of the students), will be of larger text and different colour to emphasise the link between the front cover image and the main article. All other articles in the magazine will be in a noticable font and colour that is suitable.
5. What will be on your double page spread?
On my double page spread, there will be the introduction of a new music band. the band will cause interest for the sixth form students as they are of a similiar age to them. There will be two main images of the band members and text will be appropriate to their style of music. e.g. pop music will be light colours and rock music will be dark and contrasting colours.
6. What type of media institution will produce your magazine?
The magazine will be produced on the sixth form premises and will be available next to other magazines which are typically aimed at young people who might have a particular interest in music.
